Ways to Hide Common Eyesores

Do you have areas around your house that are used daily, but you just can’t figure out how to make it look good? For example, the trashcan in your kitchen or the shoes piled up at your front door. Today we will be talking about 3 common eyesores around the house and ways to work around them.

#1: Kitchen Trash Can

Is your trash taking up space in the kitchen and getting the wrong attention? There are a couple of different ways to handle this eyesore. If you want to get your trash can completely out of sight and you have extra cabinet space, you can get hardware that will slide your trash can in and out of the cabinet. This technique will hide your trash and the only thing you will have to worry about is guests asking where it is.

Another way to glamorize your trash is by getting a storage cabinet designed to hide kitchen trash bins. If you don’t have extra cabinet space to sacrifice, this is a great second option. There are many different options to choose online, and some even give you extra counter/decorating space.

#2: Under the Bed Clutter

A lot of us have been guilty of storing things under the bed. If you have clutter under your bed, a handy bed skirt can do the trick to hide the clutter. Thanks to Amazon, the options are endless. There are many traditional styles along with more modern and simple styles to choose from.

Another way to maintain the storage under your bed is to get a bed with drawers under it. This method creates an organized space, making it easy to access things when you need them. If you are handy, there are many ways to tackle this project DIY style. #3: Piled Up Entryway

Does your entryway have a never ending pile of shoes? It might be a good time to invest in a mudroom storage unit.
